Network in person all week

  • Birds-of-a-Feather Sessions

Meet people with similar interests and challenges in an open-forum environment at the Birds-of-a-Feather (BOF) sessions. Because the BOF sessions are organised by the User Group organisations Culminis and INETA, and sessions are led by third-party experts, attendees enjoy free-flowing dialogues about products, technologies, and solutions.

Thank you to everyone who registered their interest to moderate a Birds of a Feather session at Tech·Ed Europe 2009. Session submissions has now closed and we look forward to joining the discussions on site.

    Welcome Reception

    Tuesday 10 November from 18:15 - 20:00

Join the entertainment on the Community Stage, watch the budding speakers of tomorrow in the Speaker Idol competition and bring your party shoes to boogy on down with Clusterfunk - Double-Take Software's own band

    Evening Events

Keep checking back for updates on the Event Schedule and the addition of Evening Events on the Exhibition! We are currently planning ways for you to interact with delegates, sponsors and exhibitors and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall!

  • Women in Technology: 20 years on from the fall of the wall - have the barriers been removed for us too ?

It has been 20 years since the fall of the Berlin wall, which was seen by the world as the symbolic end of the Cold War. The Technology Industry has always been traditionally a predominantly male environment. Taking that as our starting point, how far has women’s representation in the Technology Industry come in the past 20 years across Europe and what can we do to continue the transformation?

    • What can we learn from different countries across Europe?
    • We will kick off with short table discussions and report outs on the last 20 years.
    •  We will then dive into TRIBES and Women tranformational leaders and then move into team work to create your TRIBE business plan.

Join us and share your experiences with some of our great technical women in Europe presenting, working at, and attending Tech·Ed Berlin 2009. Celebrate our successes and meet and network with other women from across Europe and beyond, in our highly interactive Session Women in Technology session.
