  • How to insert images and hyperlinks in Word document or e-mail

    To Insert Images and Hyperlinks in an Office 2007 Word Document or E-mail

    1. Download the image to your hard drive
    2. Place your cursor in the document or where you would like the image to appear
    3. Select the Insert tab, and in the Illustrations group, click the Picture icon
    4. Find the image on your drive and double click on it
    5. When finished inserting, select the image by clicking on it once, then right click
    6. Select hyperlink
    7. Add the appropriate URL to the Address line:
      • Homepage = http://www.msteched.com/europe/public/
      • Register Now = http://www.msteched.com/europe/public/registration-info.aspx
  • How to insert images and hyperlinks in an e-mail signature

    To Insert Images and Hyperlinks in an Office 2007 E-mail Signature

    1. Download the image to your hard drive
    2. Open Outlook; while in the E-mail tab, select New
    3. Select the Message tab, and in the Include group click Signature, and then click Signatures from the drop-down menu
    4. Under Select Signature to Edit box, select the New button
    5. Decide on a name for the signature and type it into the box; for example: Name = TechEd 2009
    6. In the Edit Signature box, place your cursor where you want the image to appear
    7. Click on the Picture icon
    8. Locate the image on your drive and double click on it
    9. Once the image is in the Edit Signature box, click once to select it, and then select the Insert Hyperlink icon (next to the Picture icon.)
    10. Add the appropriate URL to the Address line:
      • Homepage = http://www.msteched.com/europe/public/
      • Register Now = http://www.msteched.com/europe/public/registration-info.aspx
    11. Click OK to finish
