Finally, the Windows Client and Server track has everything you need to know about adoption, deployment, management, and virtualisation of the Windows Desktop Environment, including a technical introduction into Windows 7 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 8. Also learn about new capabilities introduced with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. These include how to enable mobile workers to connect quickly and securely to a corporate network over any Internet connection, without having to manually access the virtual private networking. How you can leverage ‘Direct Access’ to manage computers by updating Group Policy settings and distributing software updates any time a mobile computer has internet connectivity, even if the user is not logged on.
This track will show how to build an infrastructure that allow users to access a corporate network more quickly through a simplified set of connectivity and security policies.
