OBAs: A strategy for unlocking the value in your ERP investment.

40% of ERP implementations have user adoption issues resulting in limited ROI from initial investments in ERP. Usability issues for the casual user of line-of-business systems such as SAP can be addressed by building OBAs as an alternative window into the ERP system. Core business data and functionality can be brought into an environment the user is already comfortable in and thereby make them more productive. In this session, we discuss some of the common pain points and business scenarios that can be effectively addressed with OBAs. We also talk about the tools and technologies available to support the OBA architecture and the critical success factors based on real life experiences.
